Compatibility matrix
Which modules the API gates protect, and what may break per release type.
Core-tier modules are diffed against their latest <dir>/vX.Y.Z tag by make apidiff, and patch releases are scanned by go run ./tools/apidiff --check-patch. Pre-1.0 Extended packages (everything else in STABILITY.md) may break freely with release notes.
